Delgany National School Parents' Association

Our Parents' Association aims to enable parents to play their part in supporting Delgany National School. As a Parents' Association we promote and encourage the provision of practical and financial assistance to support the educational, recreational, social and other activities of our school.

We endeavor to support activities, which enhance the school experience of each and every pupil and achieve our objectives through a number of practical and social events such as Coffee Mornings, Christmas Market, Book Fair, Football and Golf family days out, Sponsored Walk and BBQ ,Sopranos evening, children’s Christmas cards, casual wear and our Annual Gala Night. We also hold an educational evening and help to facilitate the Parent teacher meetings by supervising children.

Our Parents' Association Committee consists of 11 members, elected annually, and we are affiliated to the National Parents' Council Primary. On this year's committee are Stefan Gathman, Richard Beck, Ken Gibson, Caroline Walsh, Catriona King, Linda Stapleton, Romi Gray, Anthony Quinn, Tracey Kerr, Thabi Madide and Alan Tyrell.

We would welcome new fundraising ideas and would also like to thank all the parents who help and support our events, without whom we would not have raised €20,000 last year.

The PA Committee appreciates all parents accepting our Web Texts as the green approach to communicate & pass on information, reminders and emergency messages.
