Rocky Road Bars
1.4kg milk chocolate, roughly chopped
8 regular-sized Mars bars
100g marshmallows
180g Maltesers
4 Crunchie bars
33x23x5cm baking tray lined with greaseproof paper
Put milk chocolate in large saucepan over medium heat and melt, stirring occasionally.
Put the Mars bars, marshmallows, Crunchies and Maltesers into a large bowl and pour the melted chocolate.
Press the mixture into a prepared baking tray, using a tablespoon to flatten it.
Leave to cool completely, refrigerate overnight and slice.
Rocky Road Treat Bars
125g unsalted butter
300g quality dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
3 tablespoons golden syrup
200g Rich Tea biscuits, crushed into small pieces
100g mini marshmallows
2 teaspoons icing sugar to dust
Heat butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a heavy based saucepan over a gentle heat.
When melted scoop out 125ml and put it aside.
Add biscuit crumbs to chocolate mix in saucepan.
Add in marshmallows and stir gently.
Scoop into 9ins square pan and smooth with a wet spatula.
Pour over remaining chocolate mix, smooth evenly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Cut into 24 fingers and dust with icing sugar to serve.
